START MOVING PICTURES

START SOMA has been considering offering prints since our inception over 5 years ago - and we FINALLY decided to do it!

Beginning in September 2008, under the imprimatur START MOVING PICTURES, we are going to begin offering limited-edition prints from some of our favorite artists in the world - starting with a series of prints from Casey O'Connell, one of START SOMA's first artists in residence.

Technology today is pretty amazing - we start by scanning the original painting at an incredibly high resolution, and then use a state-of-the-art digital printer using special archival pigments to print the image directly on premium cotton rag archival paper.

For the first set of Casey O'Connell Prints, START MOVING PICTURES is going to do one limited edition of 10 large prints (40 x 24 inches), and one limited edition of 150 small prints (20 x 12 inches) - all signed and numbered by Casey.

10% of both limited edition print runs will be set aside for donation to charitable fund-raisers.
