START SOMA Artist in Residence Program
Every quarter, START SOMA selects a new artist in residence who is supplied with FREE space + materials to make art, and given a solo show at the end of their three month term. That's it. A pretty simple concept!

START SOMA provides FREE space for non-profit events
We noticed that a lot of smaller galleries were supplementing revenues by renting their spaces out for events. This was NOT a business that we wanted to be in, BUT, we do have a pretty nice space. So we decided to make it available for FREE to local non-profit + charitable organizations for their own events + fundraisers.

At each of our monthly openings, START SOMA includes a silent auction of multiple pieces of original fine art, and donates 100% of the proceeds to select local non-profit + charitable organizations.
